
Admission Requirements
To qualify for general admission you must have a high school diploma, its equivalent, OR be 18 years of age or older, and be able to benefit from a program of study at BRCC.

Program Students
If you plan to work towards a BRCC degree, diploma, or certificate, you'll also need to:
- Be admitted to a program*
- Show that you are proficient in reading, writing and mathematics by:
- taking the BRCC College Preparedness Test (CPT) in mathematics** and/or English, OR
- Submit Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) scores of 530/Critical Reading, 530/Writing and 520/Math, OR
- Submit ACT scores of 22/Verbal and 22/Quantitative, OR
- Submit transcripts showing completion of developmental or college-level English or mathematics classes from another college or university
*Additional qualifications may be required for admission to a specific program, such as Nursing or Veterinary Technology.
**Students planning to take higher level math courses (MTH 166, MTH 173, or higher) are required to take the math portion of the College Preparedness Test regardless of SAT/ACT scores.
