Transfer Program Students
Our College/University Transfer and Science programs let you take your first two years of classes here, earn an associates degree, and transfer to a four year school to work on a bachelor’s degree. Virginia state schools usually prefer students to complete a transferable A.A. or A.S. associate degree instead of transferring course credits for individual courses. See Virginia State Policy on College Transfer (PDF).
If you are planning to transfer to a four-year school, it is important to meet with both a BRCC advisor and an advisor from your transfer school to make sure you are taking the appropriate classes for both programs.
