Classes and Payment

Academic Calendar
Check the Academic Calendar for class start and end dates; and add/drop, refund, and payment deadlines for each semester and term.

Classes & Registration
Find and register for credit or workforce classes that fit your needs and schedule. Our Admissions team will work with you to make sure you get enrolled.

Academic Advising
Advisors can help you choose or change a program, understand degree and transfer requirements, and plan a course sequence that fits your goals. Meet with an advisor before you register for classes to stay on your chosen path.

Tuition & Payment
How much will it cost? Find information about class tuition and fees, payment options, deadlines, and where to get your questions answered.

Financial Aid
The Financial Aid office helps you apply for and manage grants, scholarships, loans, and work‑study. Reach out if you have questions about your eligibility, your aid package, or anything else.

Student Life

Get involved outside of class to meet people, build skills, and make connections at BRCC and in our community.

Students with Ice Cream

Events Calendar displays information about what is happening on campus.

Student Clubs are student‑led groups built around shared interests, majors, or causes. Joining a club can help you make friends, build your resume, and engage with campus life.

Rec Center
Manage stress, stay active, and take a break between classes. The Recreation Center has diverse spaces for games, fitness, classes, and activities. It is also home to the Student Activities room.

The Virtual Student Union is an online space for announcements, events, and opportunities for students. Visit regularly to see what is happening on campus and how you can participate.

Campus Services

The Bookstore provides textbooks, course materials, supplies, snacks, and BRCC gear.

The Cashier handles tuition and fee payments, refunds, and billing questions.

Student Computing resources include computer labs, software, and help with hardware and applications.

Food Options help you see where you can eat between classes.

ID Cards & Parking Permits make sure you can access campus spaces and park in the right places.

The Shuttle Service provides students free transportation between BRCC and Staunton or Harrisonburg.

Public Safety & Campus Police work to keep the campus safe and handle emergencies, lost and found, and incident reports. Learn how to contact them and review safety procedures.

Online Learning
The Online Learning area explains what to expect in online and hybrid courses, including technology requirements and tips for managing your time. Are you ready to take remote classes?

Testing Center
The Testing Center manages proctored tests and exams. Review guidelines before your test so you know what to bring, when to arrive, and what is or is not allowed.

Library
The Library provides study spaces, access to computers, and a wide range of books, articles, and media. Librarians can help you refine a topic, find credible sources, and cite them correctly. Electronic resources include the Library Catalog, Research Guides, Writing Guides, and more.

Writing Assistance & Course Tutoring
Writing Assistance helps with understanding assignments, organizing ideas, and revising drafts for clarity and correctness. Course Tutoring offers subject‑specific help, so you can ask questions, review difficult material, and practice problems in a supportive setting. Both are free to all BRCC students.

Career Services supports you with exploring careers, building resumes, and preparing for job or internship searches.
