Note that BRCC provides limited support for Chromebooks and does not recommend them for BRCC classes. Students may find that some class-specific software does not function as well on mobile devices such as Chromebooks, iPads, and Android tablets.
Therefore, BRCC recommends the following minimum requirements for Windows-based and Mac computers:

Using Financial Aid to Purchase Computers
Students may use up to $600 of their Financial Aid funds toward a laptop or tablet at the BRCC Bookstore if they have funds remaining after all tuition and fee charges are paid. You must complete an application to be eligible. Restrictions apply. Email brcc@bkstr.com to apply or for more information.
Students needing financial assistance to purchase required technology should contact financial aid.
Other Computer Options
Students do not need to own a computer; however, most classes at minimum require access to the internet. To help facilitate, a computer lab is open to students during the semester in F108. There are also computers for student use in the Library, and in the hallway of the F building. Students can check out a laptop for day-time on-campus use from the Lab Assistant in F108.
