- Workplace skills test administration services, including the Career Readiness Certificate and other assessments
Mike Rowe Work Ethic Certification
The Mike Rowe Work Ethic Certification program examines the importance of work ethic, personal responsibility and a positive attitude. The curriculum was developed in partnership with Wichita State University Tech.
BRCC received grant funding from the Virginia Talent + Opportunity Partnership (V-TOP) and the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) to offer this work-ethic certification.
This training is completely grant-funded and can be provided to individuals and businesses at NO COST. We can also offer customized training to fit your specific needs, including courses that range from 4-12 hours.
Registered Apprentice
Our welding, cybersecurity technician, industrial manufacturing technician (MT1), and industrial maintenance technician (mechatronics) curricula are approved for registered apprenticeships. We can customize classes to meet your needs and schedule.
Registered apprenticeship is an agreement between an employer who needs a skilled worker and an employee (the apprentice) who wants to “earn while learning” a skilled occupation.
Apprenticeship combines paid, on-the-job training with trade-specific classroom instruction to prepare individuals for the jobs of the 21st century.
