The Public Safety Office oversees the development and maintenance of laboratory safety policies, provides training and guidance to laboratory personnel to assist in compliance with regulations and industry standards, laboratory inspections, the development of emergency procedures for laboratories, and the management of laboratory waste streams.
The Public Safety Office is responsible for administering the following programs:
