Online Student Orientation
New students should complete the online student orientation as soon as possible, but before the first day of class. Allow 30-40 minutes to complete.
Assessment questions are not graded, but you should answer and submit all required questions.
New Student Welcome Day
Welcome Day is held each August before the fall semester begins, and January before the spring semester.
What You Can Do
- Tour campus
- Buy textbooks
- Get your student ID, parking decal, & library card
- Have free pizza
- Meet with an advisor
- Learn about Canvas and Zoom
- Ask financial aid questions
- Visit the Student Success Center
- Access your student accounts
- Visit the Houff Library
- Stop by Veterans’ Office
What To Bring
- Your EMPLID (Student #)
- Your printed schedule of classes from the Student Information System (SIS)
- License plate number/make/model/year of car you will be driving to BRCC (for parking sticker)
- Photo ID or driver’s license
