Articulation agreements describe how specific courses within a degree will transfer into a four-year school.

Guaranteed Admission Agreements (GAA)

You will be guaranteed general admission* to schools with GAAs if your meet the school’s criteria for:

  • minimum GPA (grade point average)
  • prerequisite course requirements
  • submitting all materials specified in the GAA by the stated deadlines.

* Unless stated, GAAs do not guarantee admission to a specific program, major, minor, or concentration.

This co-admission program offers students graduating from area high schools the unique opportunity to be admitted to both BRCC and JMU from the start of their college journey. It provides a seamless transition for students, allowing them to complete their associate degree at BRCC and then transfer to JMU without the need for a separate transfer application.
