Section 1 – Expressive Activity Policy
BRCC has a single policy on Expressive Activity. The complete policy is published on the college’s
website.
Section 2 – Certification Statement
Blue Ridge Community College has adopted materials on the policy developed by the Virginia
Community College System. These materials are routinely distributed by the Vice President of Academic
Affairs to employees responsible for the discipline and education of students (most recently on December
11, 2024). The Campus Expressive Activities FAQ for students is also published on the college’s website.
Section 3 – Lawsuits
No lawsuits alleging a violation of the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution have been filed since
December 1 of the year preceding this report.
