Shenandoah Cabaret Presents: Something Beautiful

For the third consecutive year, BRCC welcomes local ensemble Shenandoah Cabaret back to headline the Hunger Symposium. Five singers you’ve come to know and their outstanding pianist will perform a range of songs showcasing their emotional depth, comic chops, and sumptuous vocal blend. Along with fresh interpretations of classics by Stephen Sondheim, Jerry Herman, and Jule Styne, they will showcase contemporary musical theatre gems you are bound to love, supported by guest artists Chris Cole (drums) and Jack Layne (bass). Original mashup arrangements, a Joni Mitchell singalong, and an a capella number (their first!) are only a few of the reasons to be excited: get ready to laugh and cry at ‘Something Beautiful.’
