If sufficient funds are available after all tuition, fee, and book charges are satisfied, students may purchase ONE computer or tablet per calendar year using financial aid. The value of the item may not exceed $600. Restrictions apply. Application is required. Laptops and tablets may only be purchased with financial aid funds through the last day of financial aid access at the Bookstore.

Order Details

Please allow 1 - 2 business days for applications to be processed. You will be notified of your application's status through your BRCC email. Laptop and tablet purchases with aid funds are permitted only while financial aid is active through the bookstore EXCEPT during the first week of classes of each term. All computer orders are ordered directly from our vendors and usually take 1 - 2 weeks to arrive.

This application is only for students who want to use their existing financial aid funds towards the purchase of a laptop or tablet. An application is not required for computer purchases with personal funds.

Permission to Access Financial Aid Information *I give my permission to Blue Ridge Community College (BRCC) and Follett's BRCC Bookstore to access my financial aid information to verify my eligibility to use my financial aid funds.

Pricing Understanding *I understand that I can put no more than $600 of my financial aid funds towards the purchase of ONE laptop or tablet every 12 months. Additionally, financial aid may not be used for computer accessories priced over $100.

Enrollment Agreement *I agree that if I change my enrollment by dropping or withdrawing from my classes, never attending, or stop attending before the end of the semester after purchasing electronics or accessories, I will owe the charged amount of these items to BRCC. If I reduce enrollment, my financial aid may be recalculated, which may result in me owing a balance for all or part of these charges. These enrollment changes may also result in other charges related to tuition, fees, unearned financial aid, and collections fees.

All computer sales are final. Computers may not be returned, and no refunds may be issued on computer or opened accessory purchases. *I agree to the terms and conditions stated above.
