Vet Tech Entrance Test Spring 2026

The test can be taken at the BRCC student testing center in F115 if desired, or may be taken at home on a personal computer. Please note you will need to have access to reliable internet service and webcam capability.
This test consists of 50 multiple choice questions and must be completed in one sitting. The test is designed to assess your aptitude in math, science, critical thinking, and awareness of the profession.
- You will have 90 minutes to complete the test; if you haven’t finished at the end of 90 minutes, the test will automatically save your progress, and those results will be submitted
- You will be allowed one attempt to complete the test
To open the test:
- Please use this link to self-enroll in the “Vet Tech Admissions” Canvas course using your 7-digit student ID number and VCCS username. These can be found on your BRCC general admission acceptance letter (email). Your username will consist of all the characters listed before @email.vccs.edu of your VCCS email address.
- You will need to have Respondus LockDown Browser installed on your computer if taking at home and a web camera for Respondus
- Once in the Canvas course, open the “Vet Tech Entrance Test” and enter the startup code: LVT123!
Make sure to submit the test before closing the browser.
Any captured breach in academic integrity may result in the forfeiture of your application to the Veterinary Technology Program.
