Graduates qualify for the Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam given by the National Healthcareers Association (NHA).

About the Program

The program consists of 8 weeks of classroom instruction and an optional clinical externship (40 hours).

Required Healthcare Orientation - Free

Healthcare Orientation Registration (required)

Orientation must be completed prior to the first day of class.

Admission Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED within 12 months
  • 18 years old
  • Healthcare Physical Form – must be completed prior to first day of class
  • Healthcare Program Application – must be completed prior to first day of class
  • Essay Questions Form – must be completed prior to first day of class
  • Access to computer and Internet
  • Proof of attendance at BRCC Healthcare Orientation Session
