Notes

  • Students intending to complete a four-year degree in the future should select ENG 111 and 112.
  • Students should take the highest math for which they are prepared. Any student wishing to transfer should choose: MTH 151, MTH 157, MTH 163, MTH 173, or MTH 270
  • ITN 106 is cross-listed as ETR 164.
  • ITE 119 is a co-requisite or prerequisite to most other IT courses and should be taken in the first semester.
  • ITN 208 is cross-listed with ETR 225
  • ITP 100 is a prerequisite to all other IT programming courses
  • Students intending to complete a four-year degree in the future should select ENG 112. Recommended elective CST 229. Other electives include ITN 151, all 100-200 level ITE, ITD, ITP, and ITN courses not already required in the program, GIS 200, GIS 201, GIS 205, GIS 210, and ACC 211, BUS 226, ECO 201 and 202.
  • Students should select a programming course for IT programming elective. Suitable courses include ITP 110, ITP 120, ITP 225 or a second level programming course. Prerequisite: Completion of ITE 119 and ITP 100 or permission of instructor.
  • IT electives include ACC 211, BUS 226, ITN 151, all 100-200 level ITE, ITD, ITP, and ITN courses not already required in the program, and GIS 201, GIS 202, GIS 205, GIS 210.
  • The internship or capstone project should be completed in the last semester of the program. Credit for these courses may not be obtained through the College‚Äôs advanced standing process.
