Types of Online Learning Classes | BRCC, Virginia

Note: Blue Ridge remains committed to integrity across our courses and assessment efforts. As we shift our approach for classes this fall, decisions are still being made regarding proctored exam requirements and delivery methods. Please continue to watch this page for additional information on this topic.

Synchronous Classes

Synchronous learning takes place in real time. You will have set days and times that you, your instructor and other students will meet in a virtual classroom, such as Zoom. This allows for interaction similar to a face-to-face course. You will need a webcam and microphone for audio and video capabilities.
