Cancelled Courses
If it is necessary for the Workforce Services and Continuing Education Division to cancel a course, registered participants will be notified by phone and will receive a full refund, or be given the option to transfer to another course.
Refund Policy
You will be eligible for a full refund of tuition for non-credit course enrollment, provided you drop on or before one (1) week prior to the course start date. Refunds will not be authorized after the refund date. Refunds are mailed from the Virginia Department of Treasury within several weeks of your request.
Waivers
Participants may be required to sign waivers for certain courses, dependent on the nature of the activity.
Disability Services
To access disability services, contact the Coordinator of Disability Services in the College Counseling Center. Relevant documentation of the disability is required in order for the College to determine appropriate accommodation.
Inclement Weather
Please listen to local radio stations for information on college closing due to inclement weather. You may also register for BRCC's text messaging alert system on the Closings & Emergencies Website.
Parking Permits
For the Weyers Cave campus, student parking permits may be obtained from the receptionist in the lobby of Houff Student Center, Monday through Thursday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. and Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
