Some of our classes (such as
Commercial Driving or
Learning Can Be Fun) have requirements
or limitations but, for the great majority, there are no
admission requirements.
Non-credit classes begin and end
year-round. They are not tied to a semester schedule.
They are included in the regular semester schedule that the
College prints and mails to every household.
Click here for a listing of classes beginning soon.
Non-credit classes are held in a
variety of venues including on-site at local businesses and
some are tours; this will be indicated in the
schedule of classes. Most meet at one of the
College's three sites (for directions, click on the Center
name):
The Plecker Workforce Center at the Weyers Cave
campus;
The Harrisonburg Center; or
The BRCC Center at Augusta Medical Center.
Workforce Services and Continuing
Education courses feature quality instruction by BRCC
faculty and local experts in the subject area of the
specific course.

The
Women's Resource Center is open
to all women. Center programs support the special roles of women in
society, from co-workers, managers and volunteers in the workplace,
to single parents, spouses, mothers, and daughters in the family
setting. And, while the Center focuses on the needs of women, men
are welcome to attend programs of mutual interest.
What's the

What if I cannot attend one of the
regularly-scheduled sessions for the
Commercial Driving School?
Beginning
Fall 2005, CDS has a credit-class option which is very
popular. However, we realize that not everyone can
attend class during the day. So--
WSCE offers flexible, individual
scheduling for students unable to attend the four-week
class. Contact Mike Eller at ext. 2218 or
email him to discuss a schedule convenient for you.
Learning Can Be Fun (LCBF) is a
