possess a valid CDL learner’s permit (available from the DMV);
be able to obtain a DOT physical, and pass a DOT required drug
screen. We assist you with all aspects of your training. At the
completion of the course, we schedule your final testing with
DMV and help you practice with the equipment with which you are
most familiar. Financial aid may be available. For more

Ridge Community College’s Veterinary Technology Program is
pleased to offer a
three-part series of weekend workshops. Take your dental
practice to a higher level of care with practical lectures and
labs. Veterinarians
and Licensed Veterinary Technicians are eligible to participate.
Instructed by Dr. Edward Taylor and Kris Keane, LVT, VDT,
classes are limited to 15 participants per session.
Course fee is $250 per session and each meets
Saturday 9 am to 4 pm and Sunday 9 am to 3 pm

Oral Pathology, Extractions, and the
Management of Dental Pain, August 8-9
LAST DAY TO REGISTER:
JULY 20
Learn the importance of
managing oral pain and the skills to perform dental nerve
blocks. We will also discuss and
practice surgical and non-surgical extraction techniques in a
hands-on lab. The weekend rounds out with a discussion of
periodontal disease and the management of oral pathology, with
an interactive session of oral pathology case studies.
This session has been a crown pleaser for several years and gets
better every session!
