Mixology & Bartending Certificate Program
This two-course
certificate is designed to provide the basic and creative
knowledge needed to work behind a professional bar. No
alcohol is used during these classes, just colored water.
Classes will be held at Jiggers Bartending School
located in Duke's Plaza, Harrisonburg.
Once
these two courses have been completed, one can expect to have
the knowledge and confidence to obtain a professional bartending
position.
Courses in
interpersonal skills and
customer service can be helpful to
the aspiring bartender.

Class Descriptions
Ever wanted to be a professional
bartender? This certificate program provides you with a basic
foundation and knowledge of bartending along with hands-on
experience at a fully functioning bar. No alcohol is used during
these classes, just colored water. Certified by the Virginia
State Board of Education, the course offers the “TIPS” (Training
for Intervention Procedures) program.
This
course is designed to follow Bartending 101
and will focus on the creative and "flair" bartending skills, as
well as on increasing one's general knowledge of mixology.
This extremely upbeat and exciting program will take one's
bartending career a step further and enhance the student's level
of professionalism and experience.
