HUMAN RESOURCES FOR THE NON-HR MANAGER CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

If you are involved with supervising or hiring employees, this series is for you!  This four-path series will focus on equipping you with the tools to have a positive impact on the bottom line of your organization, while teaching you how to best comply with the myriad of employment laws.  Learn to attract, train, and manage the “right” people, in the right way! A non-credit certificate in HR for the Non-HR Manager will be awarded for completing all four sessions.

LEGAL ISSUES IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT--A CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAM FOR SHRM PROFESSIONALS

This program will provide up-to-date information for SHRM members.  Seminars will include:

  • Immigration Law in the Valley;

  • Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA);

  • Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and

  • Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action.
