Certified Tree Worker/Climber Specialist
This course has been designed to help tree care professionals
prepare for the Certified Tree Worker/Climber Specialist exam
administered by the International Society of Arboriculture. The
course is consistent with the ISA's Tree Climbers Guide (1998).
This course is also beneficial to tree care professionals
wishing to expand their knowledge and acquire 15 C.E.U. credits
toward maintaining their certification. For more information

to the traditional classroom sessions, the entire course (notes,
practice quizzes, PowerPoint presentations, and video clips)
will also be available electronically via the Web. Required
text, not included in fee, is Tree Climbers' Guide. Lilly, S.J.
1998, which is available through the International Society of
Arboriculture. The CTW/Climber Specialist Exam will be offered
in Staunton on October 29. Registration for the exam must be
made through the ISA. To be eligible to take the exam, you must
have at least 18 months experience and proof of training in CPR,
First Aid, and Aerial Rescue.
