Mission

The Blue Ridge Tech Prep Consortium supports students in preparing for successful careers by building partnerships between the school systems of Augusta, Highland, and Rockingham counties, and Harrisonburg, Staunton, and Waynesboro cities; Blue Ridge Community College; and area employers. The consortium will accomplish this by:

• Building a unified curriculum which relies on the input of employers, provides career development opportunities, and offers secondary/post-secondary career paths that provide a seamless transition for students from secondary to post-secondary education and/or the world of work.
• Initiating and supporting educational improvement at the secondary and postsecondary levels by enhancing the academic and technical competence of educators.
