Shenandoah Valley

Small Business Development Center

The Shenandoah Valley Small Business Development Center (SV SBDC) is where business comes to talk business in the Shenandoah Valley.

SV SBDC Mission Statement

To advise, train, and inform small businesses to help them achieve success.
We are one of 29 centers across Virginia providing professional business counseling, training and information resources to help grow and strengthen Virginia businesses. The Virginia SBDC Network is the most extensive business development program in the Commonwealth.

The SV SBDC has two offices to serve you.

The BRCC office is located at the Augusta Center in Fishersville, and the JMU office is located in Harrisonburg.  We offer free counseling services, assist with feasibility studies and business planning, sponsor seminars and training events, and provide information and other services to new and existing small and medium-sized businesses.

Our service area includes the counties of Augusta, Bath, Highland, Page, Rockbridge, Rockingham, and Shenandoah, and the cities therein.

U.S. Small Business Administration
The SV SBDC is funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

We also receive programmatic and financial support from George Mason University, James Madison University, Blue Ridge Community College, the City of Harrisonburg, Rockingham County, Augusta County, Page County, Highland County, and local business partners. See our Sponsors and Supporters page for more about our partners.

The SV SBDC can help you start, manage, and grow your business. We look forward to working with you.
