ESL (English as a Second Language)
The ESL COMPASS test is a mandatory placement test for all non-native English speakers to determine appropriate placement into English and/or ESL courses.

Students will not be allowed to use a dictionary, a thesaurus or any other writing guide / resource when taking the ESL COMPASS test.
Testing Accommodations for Students with Disabilities
If you have a disability or temporary disabling condition that will prevent you from taking the test under standard conditions, contact the Disability Services Coordinator. Requests for testing accommodations, including qualifying documentation to support the request, must be received five business days in advance of the scheduled testing session.
