Re-evaluating your values, goals, skills, and
interests are essential if you are changing your career
path or changing jobs. Career assessments are not
tests, because there are no right or wrong answers.
Instead, they provide you with information on many
prospective careers by matching your preferences,
values, and interests.
Kuder is an online career assessment system for BRCC
students only. To access instructions for using Kuder,
go to MY BRCC. Use your username and password, go to

The Career Key is an online career assessment
available to the public. The exercise can be completed in less than ten
minutes, and you can bookmark the results page to return
and explore more options. The occupations you identify
as promising careers are linked to the Occupational
Outlook Handbook where you can learn detailed, accurate
information about each career. The website includes
self-help modules on topics like choosing a college
major, making high-quality decisions, and learning more
about the world of work.
The Motivational Appraisal of Personal Potential is a
web-based test you may take for free. The site provides
an analysis sample to help you learn your personal
career motivation priorities and discover your styles
for communications, learning and leadership.
