Career Services supports the College's programs by providing career advising and assessment and development resources to BRCC students. We also assist employers and faculty with recruitment and internships.
Mission Statement
Career Services at Blue Ridge Community College assists students in their career planning and job search by offering resources, career advising, and a variety of service according to the following guiding principles:
- Career development is a lifelong process that combines self awareness, knowledge of the changing workplace, and the ability to effectively prepare for workplace changes.
- Career development is a part of the total education experience, and supported by the office of career services through building relationships with employers, the campus community, and public middle and high schools in the service area region.
- Career services professionals will maintain EEO compliance and follow fair practice principles in offering students and alumni career services.
