Residential Building Code Update Class
Are you up-to-date? The 2009 VA Residential Code, effective March 1, 2011, adopted hundreds of administrative and structural requirement changes based on the 2009 International Residential Building Code (IRC). Construction professional Joe Vavala will present chapters 2-10 of the 2009 IRC, covering definitions, accessory structures, materials, geographic and climatic design criteria, live loads, fire resistance rating, glazing and emergency escape, egress, flood resistant construction, foundations, floors, walls, roofs and chimney/fireplaces.

State Board of Contractors: Tradesman Continuing Education
In Virginia, electricians, plumbers, and mechanical tradesman are required to attend three hours of continuing education and gasfitters are required to attend a one-hour session for license renewal. BRCC Plecker Center
