WE'RE WIRELESS!

Wireless access for laptops is now available in the Houff Building, including the Library.  Students can either borrow laptops for two hours from the computer lab (F112), or use your own laptops.  If you bring your own, you must first go to F 112 to get some CD software that must be loaded on your laptop.

The laptops take a couple of minutes to fire up and find the network, but once they do, they look and act just like any of the student computers in the library.

Wireless access is also available outside on the patios surrounding the Houff building, as well as the patio between Armstrong Hall and D building.

If you have any further questions about laptops and their use, there is information at the Institutional computing website under “Wireless Access Project”, or go to F 112 for assistance.
