E-Mail
All employees of BRCC will be
given a BRCC e-mail account if
they would like one. The employee's supervisor needs to
submit the LAN Login I.D. Request / Modification form
to ICS (Institutional Computing Services). Adjunct Faculty
can contact the Division Office for assistance with this
form.
After receiving the signed
form, the ICS will create the accounts and give the login
information (I.D. and password) to the user. This enables
the user to log into the College's computer network and
access their e-mail from all campus locations.
E-Mail
from Home
Employees may also access
their BRCC e-mail from their home
computers, or any off-campus computer with internet access
and an up-to-date browser (such as Internet Explorer, or
Netscape).
Library Services from Home
Employees may access all
online Library services from off-campus after determining
their username and password. To determine your

2/15/06:
Richmond, in trying to fix a problem for VCCS libraries,
inadvertently created another problem for remote access to
library resources. If you do NOT have Peoplesoft
authorization and are NOT currently teaching a BRCC course,
you will need to
fill out the form at
http://www.brcc.edu/computing/employee/forms/IT_Account_Request_Form.doc.
Have your supervisor and Mary Wayland sign it and then
return the form to Cathy Barker in ICS. Only then will
you have remote access to the library's databases and online
books. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Renewing books from home: You
can now renewyour books yourself online,
by clicking this
Library Catalog link,
then click My Account and log in with your Blackboard login
and password.
