How to Apply for Federal Work-Study

To be considered for the Federal Work-Study Program you must first complete the following financial aid applications.

• First, complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the applicable academic year. You may do this online at www.fafsa.ed.gov
• Then complete the Work-Study Student Employment Application located at http://www.brcc.edu/financial_aid/work_study/forms.htm, and submit your completed application to the Financial Aid Office.

The Financial Aid Office will notify you concerning your eligibility for the Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program. If you are offered a FWS award you will be provided with information on how to search for available work-study positions at Blue Ridge.
