Wireless access

The Wireless Access project at Blue Ridge is an initiative to promote wireless laptop access for student use.

Usage

Wireless access is restricted to currently enrolled BRCC students, faculty and staff. Wireless access is for academic use only, and is governed by the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) Information Technology Student/Patron Acceptable Use Agreement - PDF.

Wireless Access Points

The areas shaded in orange are wireless access points.  Both floors of the Houff Student Center are included with the exception of the Learning Assistance Center offices.

Twelve laptops configured for wireless use at BRCC are available for checkout by current students in F110.   See Laptop Checkout for more information.

Personal Laptops

Current students may log in to the wireless network by using their VCCS (MYBRCC) username and password.
