Technical Requirements
Following are the minimum technical requirements to access
Blackboard. Contact your instructor for course-specific
technical
requirements.
Minimum System Requirements
- Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT, or ME; MacOS 9 or MacOS X
- 64 megabytes of RAM
- 1 gigabyte of free disk space
- Internet connectivity
- A web browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled.
These web browsers are certified as being
Blackboard-compatible, but others may work:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0, 5.5, or 6.0 on
Windows; 5.1 or 5.2 for MacOS
- Netscape Navigator 4.77 or 7.0
- Microsoft Word or another word processing application
capable of saving files in Rich Text Format
