All tours are free to the public.

Self-guided Tours

Help yourself to one of our Arboretum brochures in the lobby of the Armstrong Hall.

Guided Tours

In addition to a basic introduction to the Arboretum, you can expect some specific identification of plants and insects encountered during the tour as well as brief scientific explanations for various arboricultural concepts. Special emphasis will be on the care and preservation of trees in landscapes (Urban Forestry). There are no prearranged times for guided tours, however, you may contact the Director to arrange a time for a tour. Generally, these guided tours last about 45 minutes.

Free? A guided tour by the Arboretum Director is free? Yes. Perhaps a small donation to the Arboretum will help you suppress any feelings of guilt.

Attention Educators! Please see the educational resources for more information on how our Arboretum might help you in addressing those SOLs.
