Greetings! I’m excited by the educational opportunities the Arboretum can provide. Please keep in mind that this is the first time we have formally extended an invitation to educators to utilize the Arboretum. I will do my best to work with you in developing an activity for your students. Perhaps, if your activity is successful, we can post it on this web site for your colleagues. Knowing that SOLs are dictating much of your curriculum, I’m trying to develop a list of "arboreal" activities that correlate with specific SOLs. Until then, you may want to see some outdoor activities I developed several years ago for students (1998 VAST Presentation).
