Careers

Students gain the necessary knowledge and skills to treat, manage, and care for patients with breathing abnormalities, under the supervision of a physician.

Graduates are eligible to take exams for CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist), minimum for state licensure, and RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) to become licensed respiratory therapists.

Students complete general education courses at Blue Ridge Community College then apply to Reynolds Community College to complete remaining program requirements.
