Tuition Payment Options
Students may choose from the one of the following methods to pay their tuition (partial payments will not be accepted):
Web
Students may access the Student Information System (SIS) to pay tuition online (see SIS guide - PDF). Important: Students who pay on the Web and later are due a refund may only be refunded through the credit card used on the Web for payment. Please note: When entering your credit card payment information online, you must enter a 4 digit year for the expiration date.
Touchtone Phone

Students must know their EMPLID and PIN* (Personal Identification Number). Once you are connected to the touchtone telephone system, please select the Billing option from the main menu to access payment information.
*Please note that your initial temporary PIN will be set to your date of birth (MMDDYY) and will be valid for 30 days after you have applied and been accepted to the College. After 30 days students must establish a permanent PIN. This may be done any time by logging on to https://br.my.vccs.edu and choosing the option CHANGE MY IVR/PHONE REGISTRATION PIN. If you have established and forgotten your PIN you may also use the above link to create a new PIN.
In Person
Tuition can be paid by cash, check, Mastercard, VISA, or American Express at the cashier's window in the Houff Student Center, Weyers Cave campus. In order to facilitate timely processing of your payment, it is requested that students have either their EMPLID or social security number readily available. Partial payments and checks in excess of tuition cannot be accepted. - Cashier Hours and Contact Information
Drop Box
A drop box is located in in the Houff Student Center for checks and credit card payments only. Please enclose your EMPLID or social security number so that payment may be processed correctly. PLEASE, NO CASH IN THE DROP BOXES!

Tuition Payment Plan
To help meet your educational expenses, Blue Ridge Community College is pleased to provide Nelnet Business Solutions. Nelnet allows you to pay your tuition in monthly installments. The earlier you enroll, the more payment options you have. For more information, call Nelnet at 1-800-609-8056.

Financial Aid
All financial aid – including loans – will be credited directly to your student account. The award (s) will be used to pay all outstanding amounts you owe to the college for the semester. If you have a credit balance after all obligations have been met, you will be issued a refund check. If your financial aid does not cover all of your expenses you will receive a bill for the balance owed.
Please Note: Initial Financial Aid award notifications are based upon full time enrollment (12 credit hours). When a Financial Aid student falls below fulltime status, the Financial Aid award is reduced. Financial Aid students will be billed for any charges over and above the final award amount.
Third Party Contract
If your employer or another party will be paying your tuition, you must complete the Third Party Contract Form (pdf requires Adobe Acrobat Reader) and return to Student Financial Services:
