Crime Incident Report - Spring 2006Date: 1/11/06 DescriptionAt 2:00 p.m. on 1/11/06, a student reported that her vehicle had sunken into a ditch in the student south parking lot and that she could not get it out. The day prior, BRCC had excavation work done in the student lot and the ditch collapsed. BRCC maintenance personnel used Wrenn's Wrecking Service in order to get the vehicle out. The vehicle was out of the ditch by 3:30 p.m. The student and her husband were concerned that the car may have been damaged. Our maintenance personnel recommended that they have someone check out the vehicle, if they were concerned. Date: January 23, 2006 DescriptionStudent reports that a man has been stalking her. The man is described as caucasian, 5' - 5'4" tall, 39-40 years of age, with white/blonde hair, glasses, and piercings in both ears. She saw him across from her home the morning of 1/23/06 and then in the South Student Parking Lot, when she arrived on campus for her classes. She identified the man as someone who grew up in her hometown of Shenandoah. He drives a blue/grey jeep with a wheelchair lift on the back. Date: 2/23/06 DescriptionOn 2/23/06 between 9:15 a.m. and 10:50 a.m., a student reported that her blue Volvo (license number not available) had been hit in the North Student Parking Lot. She stated that there was a dent in the back bumper that had not been there before. Additionally, she stated that it was mostly paint damage. Date: April 4, 2006 DescriptionStudent's car was side swiped on the driver's side back quarter panel on Monday night, April 3, 2006 between 5:00 and 9:30 PM. Vehicle was parked in front row of north parking lot. Damage sustained was minimal - paint rubbed off and oil stain on side. Student did not notice damage until the next morning. Date: 4/20/06 DescriptionStudent noticed small dent on side of car and several scratches near gas tank input. Student found damage when putting gas in the car after class. Date: 4/17/06 DescriptionStudent vehicle hit in student parking lot. Student noticed damage around 1:00 PM. Damage to passenger side near side panel at the top of the wheel well. State police were called and arrived at 19:25 and student filled out a report. |
